a design process guided by faith

The home is the domestic church - a place of connection, belonging & intimacy within the family - and with God.

Seeing the home through this lens changes everything. It is not the lens of interior design, which is often in direct opposition to the goals of the Christian family. I want to give you more than tips and tricks to make your house pretty like everyone else's - I want to help you build your domestic church.

the problem

THE MARKETPLACE
HAS MADE IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE

The business of interior design is one-dimensional. It seeks to create spaces attached to rules that quite likely have nothing to do with how you live or who you are. It's become an oppressive force that has eroded trust and confidence in homeowners. The answer is to integrate the parts of your life that make up on your house and how you lreally live - as well as the goals for your family.

your solution

A FAMILY-CENTERED MINDSET + TOOLKIT

The goal is not to be family-friendly, but family-centric in our way of making the home. Unfortunately we are bombarded with homes that have been erased of their vitality. Embracing the seasons of family will help create a space that honors and eases family life.

how!

getting clear
on purpose
WHEN THE PURPOSE OF THE HOUSE IS CLEAR, WE KNOW WHAT TO DO
  • detach from what the world tells us to do

  • understand our own personal objectives

  • grow in confidence of our mission

addressing
fears
KNOW THE GIVENS AND THE FAMILY STORY
  • get clear on who you are

  • get clear on your values

  • understand what you have been drawn to - this helps to establish an aesthetic

establishing
a process
MAKE DECISIONS WITH GRACE
  • when we know ourselves, and our "givens" we can next establish a process for making decisions that is repeatable

about paige

I'm a wife, mother, author, and educator on all things home. The home is a teaching place, a healing place, and a gathering place for our family - and I believe it's a very powerful tool in our journey with God. The world wants us to think the house is on display for material worth - the house is a powerful tool that enables us to live, love, and serve each other, and through this lens, we can create beauty in a totally different and personal way.

I got my start and really developed some of my fundamental house ideas working on a show on HGTV called "Hidden Potential" for 5 seasons. I have also written two books on the home, called, "Love the House You're In: 40 Ways to Improve Your House & Change Your Life" and "Revived & Renovated: Real Life Conversations on the Intersection of Home, Faith & Everything in Between."

let's get started

STEP 1

Understand how the marketplace and design media have undermined your confidence

STEP 2

Get clear on your personal story, objectives and the purpose of the home

STEP 3

Leverage design tools and implement your faith to create a home that serves your family
